Today we got our results for the second beta……drum roll………291!!! In English this means it is a strong number. They want the numbers to double every 3 days. Today was only day 2 and it almost doubled!! Back to the lab on Monday for the last blood draw if the numbers are good!! My youngest daughter, Katiana, who is five, came with me today. She frequently watches me do my shots and always has a lot of questions. When we left the lab today she stated, “I was feeling a little limpy when she was taking your blood!”
Of course I spoke to the intended parents again today and of
course it was wonderful. Their excitement really puts me in the clouds! It is
something special that I feel like I can call or text them anytime I want/need
to. It is absolutely adorable how concerned they are with how I am feeling!
How am I feeling? SUPER TIRED!! I actually woke up this
morning feeling really icky and thought to myself “I feel pregnant….” That made
me chuckle. WHO HOO!!! I FEEL PREGNANT!!
