Officially official!!!! Had our first blood draw today and it came back…POSITIVE!!! The number was 168. The nurse told me that was a great strong number!! I have another blood draw on Friday and Monday. Hopefully the numbers will keep doubling with each draw. We won’t know for sure if there are one or two babies hanging out in there for another 3 weeks.
What else is officially official…?? I am an emotional roller coaster ! I wasn't feeling well at all the other day so I decided to take
it easy and watch some morning television…we don’t have cable =(
So here is the run down: Cry watching Jerry Springer-check.
Cry watching Maury-check. Cry during a cute commercial-check. Cry during the
voice-check. Cry reading blogs-check. So I guess what I am getting at is I am
very emotional.
So of course I got to talk to the Intended Parents again
today!! LOVE IT!! Of course hear joy in their voice and cry-check. Now it is
setting in. What?!?! I am pregnant!!! This is so amazing. We are so blessed
that it took on the first try. Many surrogates go through many failed attempts.
I believe this is where I am supposed to be and what I am supposed to be doing.
