Beta #3

Beta #3 today!!!! So the last number was 291 on Friday and we wanted this number to double in three days. Today is Monday so the number we were looking for was at least 582. Today’s results were…….900!!!! What a great number!! We have an ultrasound scheduled for May 7^th and I will be 7 weeks along on that day! Then another one on May 28^th!!

I thought maybe I was losing my mind because I could swear I have been having pregnancy symptoms already. After reading tons of blogs and message boards I feel better! I am not getting much sleep these days because I am waking up in the middle of the night to pee at least 6 times! Smells, smells everywhere! I can smell everything! My husband jokes that the police department should hire me on as a drug sniffer. I am sooooooo tired!! Seriously sometimes I just want to lay on my laundry room floor and take a nap in-between filling the washer and starting it! There is one more small little thing…I AM SO HUNGRY!! No, really hungry like I could chew off my own leg and eat it with some 57 sauce! My husband will cook something wonderful for supper and 30 minutes later I feel like I haven’t ate a thing!! I would give almost anything for something lemon right now…lemon bread or lemon bars…yum!

Crazy fact: Yesterday I was down in my office listening to Christmas music on Pandora. I know I know….but I for some reason just really wanted to listen to Christmas music. My husband came down stairs and I am guessing he isn’t a big fan of Christmas music in April however, my daughter thought it was awesome and we totally danced it out to Jingle Bell Rock. Anyways the fact that I was listening to Christmas music isn’t the crazy fact! Today the nurse from the clinic told me my due date. Any guesses?!? My due date is December 25!!!! How awesome is that! I can’t think of a better holiday occasion can you? The intended parents mentioned something about one of their moms coming up for the birth as well!! I have heard so much about her and seen pictures and she seems like an amazing lady! I cannot wait to meet her! The last time I seen the intended parents I told them to feel free to give their parents my email as well just in case they ever wanted to talk or whatever. Hope that wasn’t weird!! I figure the more who want to be involved the better =)

OH GUESS WHAT TODAY MEANS?!?! I can take a bath!!! You all know how long I have been waiting for this! That is some great news to add to my week of some bad luck. I don’t mind giving myself a shot everyday but the days when I have to do two make me a little mad. Why would I have to do two? After the needle is in you have to pull back on the syringe handle to aspirate and if you see blood you have to remove the needle and not inject the medicine. After removing, you have to change the needle and poke yourself all over again. This has happened three times now!! My upper butt is super sore now. In bed it is very painful to try and turn over to lie on that side of my body. The last couple blood draws at the clinic they have really had to fish for my veins. I think they are starting to rebel.

What a great way to start the week! 900!!!! Guess I will go find something to eat cause I feel like I haven’t ate in the last four days =)  Blessings!
